Bus lines 2 and 4 arrive close to SISSA.
Bus n.2 (Opicina's tram) and n. 4 leave both from the side opposite to Piazza Oberdan; you have to get off at Obelisco (ask the bus driver) and then walk down Via Bonomea for a pleasant 10 minutes’ walk to reach SISSA.
Find the updated schedules (http://www.triestetrasporti.it/index.php?linee-e-orari) for all the bus routes on Trieste Trasporti website (www.triestetrasporti.it). Go ahead for about 150 mt and turn right in direction Trieste, and then at the crossway turn right again in direction Opicina/Trieste centre. Go straight for about 4 km to the roundabout with the traffic light, located just after an Esso gas station. Turn again right at the traffic light and then, after about 400 mt, at the first bend, go down Via Bonomea. After 500 mt you will reach SISSA Main Entrance.
Parking out of the garage is not allowed. You can get to the garage ringing and announcing yourself to "Presidio Tecnico".
