Brief description of the organization:
YouHealth is a biomedical Start-Up Company operating at the Karolinska Science Park at the Karolinska Institutet. The company was founded in 2008 based on the expertise in bioinformatics, systems medicine and innovative ICT solutions for health care.

Main tasks attributed to the project:

Data Analysis and Network Reconstruction.

Previous experience relevant to the tasks:
Prof. Jesper Tegnér (Full Professor in Computational Biology since 2002) and a strategic and chaired professor in Computational Medicine at Karolinska Institute. He has three different degrees (Mathematics, Medicine, Philosophy), a PhD/MD in Computational Medicine. He has developed new mathematics, algorithms, designed software and performed experimental work in the laboratory. During the last 8 years (2002-2010) his team in Computational Medicine has published/in press close to 80 papers (August 2010). He is the innovator of three patents and is a partner in several collaborative grants including four European projects (IP, two STREPs, NoE).
